Where have I been?
Frank has called me a slogger. I confess, I may have been a slogger. We have also been very busy.
This year, I had the privilege to be the chair of the Christmas committee at work. That means planning the float for the town Christmas parade, the family services party, the residential services party, the decoration of campus, and several other things. It wasn't quite as bad as it may sound but it did make for a busy November & December.
As soon as I got through with that, we headed to Disney for a nice break. It was a wonderful trip.
The kids had a great time. James and Grace both rode their first roller coasters. James tackled Expedition Everest and Grace tackled Big Thunder Mountain. The families favorite rides were at EPCOT: Test Track and Soarin. The kids also had some great character interaction.

When we returned, my family came up for Christmas. We had a good time with them, it was especially nice to have a visit from Grandma Jones. Grandma Jones is my mom's mom and she will be 90 next August. She supplied the traditional homemade jellies for gifts, the cheese ball, the lemon & strawberry pies, and the orange slice cakes. Then she had the nerve to say she didn't give much compared to what she received. We reminded her she has been giving for years and years. She is a great lady.
A late Merry Christmas to each of you who stop by. Best wishes for a happy new year!
